According to the Alameda County Court, the CA Department of Motor Vehicles (CADMV) can only mask a single traffic citation per every eighteenth-month period. In other words, you may only take traffic school once every 1½ years. If you take traffic school twice within the same 1½ timeframe, the CADMV will be sent notice of your 2nd moving violation and those points will be applied against your driving record.
WARNING: If you fail to submit to the Fremont Court the required "Certificate of Completion" (or fail return to court yourself within ninety days to make other arrangements to handle your traffic ticket), the fees you paid to the Fremont Court per CVC42007 will be made into bail and you will have forfeited that amount per CVC40512.6.
