Thank you for your email. If you are eligible for traffic school, then you will need to pay the required ticket fees and complete traffic school by the court assigned due date in order to have the ticket masked from your driving record and not affect your insurance.

The CA traffic school course is $19.95 total. The course fee includes the California DMV-licensed traffic school program and electronic reporting of your certificate within 3 business days of completion, as required by the DMV. You will also receive an email and online confirmation for your records. We do offer additional services for an extra fee, but they are all completely optional. Further details will be provided on our website before you pay. The $19.95 fee includes everything you need to fulfill your traffic school requirement. Unfortunately, the traffic school course would not qualify for an insurance discount. The Mature Driver course is a different program offered by our affiliate school, so you would need to complete their course and receive a certificate to provide to your insurance agency in order to receive a discount.
