Ticketed While Driving in Georgia with a Florida License

I received a speeding ticket in Georgia but I live in Florida. Can I still take the online traffic school to avoid points on my license?
I was driving in the state of Georgia when I got pulled over and received a traffic citation. I currently live in the state of Florida and I want to avoid getting any points on my DHSMV driving record. I see that online there is a traffic school course for Florida. Can I sign up for this course?

The Florida online traffic ticket course is for traffic citations issued in the state of Florida. You will need to contact the Georgia court where your ticket is filed to confirm the requirements and if you are eligible to take a Georgia approved course to avoid points.
