Too Late to Take Traffic School

Unfortunately, you cannot take traffic school (driving school for a ticket) to remove points or tickets currently on your driving record. The case must be open and approved for traffic school by the court where the ticket is filed. Your son can try contacting the court to request to reopen his case. If approved, he will need to pay the required fees and the court will assign him a traffic school due date.

Once he completes traffic school and the court has processed his certificate with the DMV, then the point would be removed and his driving record gets updated.
