Took your course already for a previous ticket
- question from 10/20/2020 by Yolanda, filed under 18 months and Traffic Ticket Course
I was just wanting to know if I could take this traffic ticket course again for another traffic incident?
I took your course already for a previous ticket. I recently got another ticket. I was just wanting to know if I could take this course again for another incident?
TrafficSchool.com Says
Good Morning Yolanda-
The DMV only allows you to take traffic school once every 18 months which is calculated from the violation dates. If your tickets were issued more than 18 months apart, then you can take traffic school again. If the second violation is within 18 months then you cannot take traffic school and the point will be reported to the DMV. The violation will fall off your driving record after 3 years.
Hope this helps, but please let us know if you have any further questions.
