Traffic School or Fight Speeding Ticket
- question from 8/11/2020 by Claudiu, filed under Traffic Court and Speeding Ticket
If I fight my ticket and am found guilty, can I still attend the traffic if the court allows it?
I just pulled of the right side of the road to grab my glasses left in the trunk while driving north on SR-75 Coronado when I was stopped by a traffic officer stating that I was going 84 Mph in a 65 MPH zone. I was thinking about the options I have for this speeding ticket. I have a video from my dashcam showing the speed and time of day in San Diego. If found guilty can I attend the traffic if the court allows it?
TrafficSchool.com Says
Hello Claudiu-
Thank you for choosing TrafficSchool.com for your traffic safety needs. If you are found guilty, then you can request traffic school and pay an administrative fee to the court in order to be approved. Please note, if you are planning to fight the ticket and lose your case, then the decision to grant traffic school would be entirely up to the judge.
Please let us know if you have any further questions, thank you and good luck!
