When I paid the ticket I did not request traffic school

Unfortunately, you cannot take traffic school to remove points or tickets currently on your driving record from closed court cases. The case must be open and approved for traffic school by the court where your ticket is filed.

However, you can try contacting the Beverly Hills Court to request they reopen your case. If approved, you will need to pay the required administrative fee and the court will assign you a traffic school due date.

Once you complete traffic school and the court has processed your certificate with the DMV, then the point would be removed and your driving record gets updated. Hope this helps, but please let us know if you have any further questions.
