Has my due date passed?

I enrolled for the online traffic school course. My understanding was the deadline, as mentioned in letter from court, is January 5. But I just noticed the course I purchased, that I have not started yet, is already past due on Oct 17th. Please advise how can I complete the course, which is critical for me, as I do not want the ticket to affect my record.

Thank you for your email. As long as court receive the certificate I am fine. Do I need to do anything else such as be in contact with DMV for the certificate or is that not needed?

You are correct, your due date is January 5th. The court website mentions your traffic school was granted on October 6th, however, your due date to complete the course and submit your certificate is January 5th. As you have completed your course today, the certificate will be sent to the court for you before your due date so it will be there on time.

It is not a requirement for you to follow up with the court and/or the DMV but we strongly recommend you follow up with them a few weeks after your certificate has been sent to ensure they have processed it.
