California Drivers License But Ticket from Utah

I am a California resident but I received my ticket in Utah this summer, is Utah the state in which I need to do traffic school?
Hi, I'm a California resident but I received my ticket in Utah this summer while visiting family. My drivers license is from California and I don't want my insurance to go up. Do I do a course for Utah or a course for California since my license is from there?

You will need to contact the Utah court listed on your ticket or paperwork. The Utah courthouse will be able to confirm your eligibility for traffic school and how the point is reported or cleared with California DMV. If approved, you will need to take a state approved course based on where the ticket was issued.
