If you have not previously taken traffic school for another ticket within 18 months, then you will need to confirm your eligibility for traffic school with the court where your ticket is filed. If eligible, then you must pay the fine plus a court administrative fee in order to be approved for traffic school so they can assign you a traffic school due date.

You are required to pay the ticket fee whether you take traffic school or not. Completion of traffic school only keeps the violation from showing as a point on your driving record, but you still need to pay the fine plus an administrative fee. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
