How many hours will the online course take to complete?

The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) requires the course take 4 hours to complete. All first time driver courses (both online or in-person) are mandated to take 4 hours to finish.

Does the entire course have to be completed all at one time?

It's up to you. Our course is self-paced, which means that you can finish it during a single sitting or stop and start back up when you choose. We will always keep track of the time spent on each chapter when you save & log off. When you log back in, you start right where you left off, rounded to the nearest minute.

What happens if I fail the first time driver course?

Although improbable, there is the possibility of you failing the test. In the event you do fail, we allow you multiple chances to take the test questions over. Also, in our course, you have the benefit of reviewing all material before answering any questions. In addition, the answers to all questions are within the course material. If you are having problems understanding the material, you may e-mail us at info@driverseddirect.com.
