Personal
Info & Its Use
We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer
our Web site. IP
addresses
collected are not tied to users' personal information.
Our site's registration form requires users to give us contact information
(like their name and email address), unique identifiers (like their drivers
license
number), and demographic information (like their zip code, age, or gender). We
use customer contact information from the registration form to send the
user information
about our company. The
customer's contact information is also used to contact the visitor when requests
for clarification caused by problems with your student information are required
for certificate processing.
Unique identifiers (such as drivers license and court case numbers) are collected
to
verify the user's identity and for use for certificate processing with your court.
We do not sell or share this information with any third party, other than your
court (or court assistance agency contracting with your court) for proper paperwork
processing and dismissal. In some instances, this information will also be given
to various course providers we contract with to provide course delivery and certificate
fulfillment.
Demographic and profile data is also collected at our site. We use this
data to tailor the visitor's experience at our site, showing them content
that we
think they might be interested in, and displaying the content according to their
preferences. This information is shared with advertisers on an aggregate basis
only. In other words, we do not supply any specific identifying information to
any of our advertisers or partners.
In order to provide our traffic school on the Internet to you, we may on occasion
supplement the personal information you submitted to us with information from
third party sources. Certain court jurisdictions require students identities
to be verified in order to complete the final exam for traffic school online.
As an option to our in-person method of ID verification, we also provide our
students with the use of the eIDverifier authentication system from Equifax to
verify your identity. TrafficSchool.com provides full details and the option
of the this method of verification when taking the final exam.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies as a mechanism as a means for our server to store
its own information about a user on the user's own computer. Our website
does this to
remember where users log-off of their individual courses. To be able to "re-enter" your
course, we save your user information, thus, we must use cookies to store this
information. Since our course environment (logging in and out when you please)
depends on cookies, it is necessary for you to enable them to utilize our program.
Our website's cookie mechanism is solely tied to the personal information that
you have provided during the registration process.
This site contains links to other sites. TrafficSchool.com, Inc. is not
responsible
for the privacy practices or the content of such sites.
TrafficSchool.com
reviews customer testimonials and may display them on our site
from time to time.
However, testimonials do not contain identifying personal information.
Our site uses an order form for customers to request information, products,
and services. We collect visitor's contact information (like their email
address)
and financial information (like their account or credit card numbers). Contact
information from the order form is used to send orders and information about
our company to our customers. The
customer's contact information is also used to get in touch with the visitor
when it is necessary to discuss a problem in the processing of an order.
Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products
and services
Third Party
Intermediaries
We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing
company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain,
share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
TrafficSchool.com contains framed links to other sites where it may appear to
the user by way of the look of the page that the user is still on the TrafficSchool.com
site. TrafficSchool.com uses this framing technique to provide a better, more
seamless experience for our users. You may verify which site you are visiting
by checking the URL location on your browser address bar.
