You should receive a mailed courtesy letter from the court within 30 days of receiving your traffic ticket. The courtesy letter will state if you are eligible for traffic school and what the next steps are.

Basically, once you have approval from your court to take traffic school, then you can immediately sign up for our online California Traffic School course to mask the ticket point from your DMV record.

Everything you need is provided on our website. The CA online course is broken down into seven sections. Simply read through the course material at your own pace, on your own time. You must complete each chapter and read each page before moving forward through the program. You get unlimited opportunities to pass the quizzes after each section and you'll have 2 chances to pass the final exam. If you do not pass the final exam on the second attempt then the whole course will reset and you start over from the beginning without having to pay for the course again.

Please make sure to take your time when answering the final exam questions and remember to review the course material to double check your answers. You can take the course all at your own pace, so the time will vary depending on the person. However, most people can complete everything within 2-4 hours altogether. Please also note that you are not required to take the course in one sitting, so you’re able to log in and out of the program while our system saves your progress.

Upon completion, we will submit your electronic DMV certificate for the court within 3 business days.
